About Me
My name is David Pollard, and I am a psychology practitioner with a background in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) and Applied Behaviour Analysis (ABA), supporting children, adolescents, and families.
I hold a BA (Hons) in Psychology, an MSc in Applied Behaviour Analysis, and a professional certificate in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy. My work focuses on providing evidence-based, practical support tailored to each individual’s needs, strengths, and goals.
I take a holistic and collaborative approach to therapy, recognising that emotional wellbeing is influenced by relationships, environments, learning styles, and developmental differences. I specialise in:
CBT for Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD)
Anxiety support for children and teenagers
ABA-based 1:1 therapy for children with ASD
Parent and family support sessions
My aim is to create a supportive, structured, and understanding therapeutic space where young people and families feel heard, respected, and empowered. I work closely with parents and caregivers, providing practical strategies that can be used in everyday life to promote confidence, emotional regulation, and long-term wellbeing.
I offer both in-person and remote sessions, working with families internationally. My approach is compassionate, evidence-based, and focused on helping individuals build meaningful and lasting skills.
