Autism & Behaviour Support in Madrid

Practical, individualised support for children, teenagers and families

I provide professional behaviour and psychological support to children, teenagers and families in Madrid, with both in-person and online sessions available.

In-person support is provided in a suitable agreed setting, depending on the needs of the child, teenager or family. This may include the family home, school, community settings or another appropriate location.

My approach is practical and focused on helping families develop skills and strategies that can make a meaningful difference in everyday life.

Where?

Home – working within the family environment where appropriate.

School – supporting skills and behaviour within the educational setting, where collaboration with the school is possible.

Community – supporting independence, social skills, emotional regulation and everyday activities in real-world settings.

Online – remote support is also available for families who prefer online sessions.

ABA & Behaviour Therapy

Ages 3–18

Individualised behaviour support for children and teenagers with autism, ADHD and other behavioural or developmental needs.

Sessions can focus on areas such as:

  • Communication and social skills

  • Emotional regulation

  • Independence and everyday skills

  • Behaviour that is affecting home or school life

  • Following routines and instructions

  • Developing positive replacement behaviours

  • School and community participation

Where appropriate, support can take place in the child's natural environment, such as at home, in school or in the community, allowing strategies to be practised in the situations where they are most useful.

CBT Therapy

From age 12+

Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) for teenagers and young people experiencing difficulties such as anxiety, emotional regulation, confidence, negative thinking and challenging situations.

Sessions are adapted to the individual's age, communication style and needs, with a focus on developing practical skills that can be used outside of therapy.

CBT can support young people to:

  • Understand the connection between thoughts, feelings and behaviour

  • Recognise unhelpful thinking patterns

  • Develop coping and emotional regulation strategies

  • Manage anxiety and difficult situations

  • Build confidence and independence

  • Develop practical problem-solving skills

In-person and online sessions available.

Family & Parent Support

Supporting a child or teenager with autism, behavioural difficulties or emotional regulation challenges can be demanding for the whole family.

Family support provides parents and caregivers with practical strategies they can use in everyday life, rather than simply talking about problems after they occur.

Sessions can focus on:

  • Understanding why behaviours are happening

  • Developing proactive strategies

  • Managing challenging behaviour

  • Supporting emotional regulation

  • Building independence

  • Improving routines at home

  • Developing consistent approaches between parents and caregivers

  • Creating individualised behaviour support plans

Sessions are tailored to each family's circumstances and can be provided online or in person in an agreed setting.
